Welcome to the Bahá’í Arts Connection website, a subsidiary of the Wings to the Spirit Foundation. The purpose of this site is to provide a space for artists to share their work and to bring about a discourse concerning how the Bahá’í teachings support and foster art, both for the individual and for the community.
As you see when you visit this website, we are offering a registry for Bahá’í artists to share their work and for supporters to enjoy it. We are also offering presentations in the form of webinars, lectures, interviews, and panel discussions which will be announced on our calendar. Note that these presentations are not limited to the artists, but will also include scholarship about art and, in particular, about those Bahá’í artists who have attained public acclaim in their fields.
You will note that we also are not limiting the site to any particular form of art, but are including indigenous arts and crafts, photography and film, as well as acting and collective endeavors, such as choral projects and community arts.
If you are interested, please read the attached guidelines and send us the information called for on the registration form.
One does not have to be registered to enjoy the site or to take part in the group discussions that will be on our Facebook group, but note that the BAC board of directors will determine who will give presentations, though we welcome your suggestions, as well as your requests to give a presentation if this something that would interest you. Please let us know if you have any questions.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely, BAC Board of Directors
